Wales End to End Cycle

OVERVIEW

Pedalling from the most northern point of Wales down to the vibrant capital of Cardiff, you’ll experience diverse beautiful landscapes of majestic woodlands; rural lanes and distinct mountain ranges from start to finish.

This is a very tough challenge, but with our magnificent support crew and camaraderie within the team, the miles will fly by as you enjoy this iconic cycling challenge.

Global Adventure Challenges 

 

ITINERARY

Day 1

Meet South Stack, Anglesey for registration. Cycle to Bala. Cycling distance – approx. 85 miles, total ascent 8,351 ft.

Day 2

Cycle Bala to Brecon. Cycling distance – approx. 106 miles, total ascent 12,387 ft.

Day 3

Brecon to Cardiff. Cycling distance – approx. 60 miles, total ascent 6,060 ft.

Day 4

After breakfast transfer to South Stack. Please note, this is a complex itinerary and subject to change.

COST

Sponsorship: £95 reg fee + £1,240 sponsorship (£620 to Hospice of the Valleys)

This option is for those who wish to raise sponsorship to cover both the costs of the trip and a donation to Hospice of the Valleys . There is a minimum sponsorship amount for each trip that you are required to raise in order to participate.

 

Self-Funding:  £95 reg fee + £620 trip costs

This option is for those who choose to pay the trip costs themselves.  There is the option to raise funds for the Hospice of the Valleys.

What’s included

• All transfers
• Three nights’ accommodation
• All meals from lunch on Day 1 through to breakfast on Day 4
• Water, snacks and fruit at rest stops
• Vehicles for backup and support
• A Global Adventure Challenges leader
• Route markers or cycle guides
• Comprehensive first aid/medical kit
• Mechanical support. Basic spare bike parts will be taken but please note we cannot cater for every eventuality, therefore it is vital that participants ensure that their bike is in full working order and in good condition.

• Bicycle hire (it is requested that all participants bring their own bike – road bikes are highly recommended)
