The 24 Peaks Trek takes you to the top of some of the Lake District’s highest peaks in one weekend of adventure!
You’ll be trekking for 12 hours each day, covering around 28 miles over the weekend – with around 12,500ft of total ascent, the 24 Peaks challenge is one of the UK’s most demanding adventures.
The Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK, filled with breathtaking mountain views and valleys – it is the perfect backdrop to this awesome challenge. The days will be long and the trekking really tough, but the rewards of hiking into the heart of this amazing National Park and the accomplishment of conquering 24 peaks will make your efforts worthwhile.

We meet at Penrith train station, then transfer to our accommodation for event registration and briefing.
Bowfell to Green Gable. We conquer the first 9 peaks of our challenge. Trekking distance – approx. 12 miles / target time 12 hours.
Red Screes to Great Dodd. We summit the remaining 15 peaks before congratulations all round and our onward journeys home. Trekking distance – approx. 16 miles / target time 12 hours. Please note, this is a complex route and itinerary and subject to change.

Sponsorship: £95 reg fee + £850 sponsorship (£425 to Hospice of the Valleys)
This option is for those who wish to raise sponsorship to cover both the costs of the trip and a donation to Hospice of the Valleys . There is a minimum sponsorship amount for each trip that you are required to raise in order to participate.
Self-Funding: £95 reg fee + £425 trip costs
This option is for those who choose to pay the trip costs themselves. There is the option to raise funds for the Hospice of the Valleys.

• Transfer service from Penrith train Station to the accommodation and back to Penrith at the end of the challenge
