The Hospice is delighted to announce we have 2 runners representing the charity in this years London Marathon taking place on Sunday 3rd October; Kevin Hale (patiently waiting since the 2020 event) and Daniel Price. It was a difficult decision with lots of great applications from our wonderful supporters and runners, thank you to everyone who applied.
We wish both runners all the very best with their training plans and have everything crossed for the them and the nation that come Sunday 3rd October we will all be in a better position and Covid-19 under better control!
In the coming months, if you see Kevin or Daniel out and about collecting or have chance to support their fundraising campaigns to help raise vital funds, please give what you can, it is very much appreciated and will be such a motivational boost for both Kevin and Daniel whilst running the 26.2 miles round London on Sunday 3rd October.
If you would like to show your support now, you can visit Kevin’s or Daniel’s on-line giving platforms, by clicking the respective links below and making a wonderful donation – thank you in advance
In the running world, it does not get much better than this, one of life’s great challenges, the unbeatable atmosphere of the Virgin Money London Marathon! The sense of achievement is amazing.
If you are lucky enough to gain a space through the ballot and would like to run for the Hospice, then please get in touch and let us know. We can start supporting you straight away.
As an own space runner, you will receive all the same support from our dedicated fundraising team as those with the charity space, but there is no sponsorship target to meet. Our patients and their loved ones are always so grateful for your support and for any funds you can raise for them.
Whether you’re a seasoned or first time runner, Hospice of the Valleys will be there to support you.
If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact Amanda Chard on 01495 717277 or by emailing Amanda.firstname.lastname@example.org
