Virtual Six Mile Race and One Mile Run

April 25

During this pandemic our patients and their loved ones need you now more than ever!

Our unwanted friend Covid-19 continues to cause disruption in our everyday lives including the world of events.

We sadly inform you that we are unable to host our annual Six Mile Race and Junior One Mile Run as normal on Sunday 25th April at Bryn Bach Parc.

Instead we’re excited to go virtual and welcome runners both seniors and juniors, past supporters and new to join us and help raise vital funds for our patients and their loved ones.  Let’s see how far round the world we reach!

The Hospice of the Valleys’ Virtual Six Mile Race and Junior One Mile Run is set where you want it to be.  Your garden, local community, treadmill or skipping/stepping on the spot.

We encourage children to be supervised by an adult during their one-mile challenge.

Meet our sponsors

Family Finance – Family Vision are pleased to support Hospice of the valleys as our chosen charity for 2020 as we feel this is a fantastic charity who are great to be in partnership with as we have supported them previously.

Hospice personnel do amazing work in the community and through their organised fundraising events makes it easy and enjoyable to raise money collectively for such a worthwhile cause whilst building it in with effective team building for our staff.

Besides taking part in a number of events this year we are glad to be one of their main sponsors this year in their fantastic Six Mile Race and Junior One Mile Run on Sunday 26th April.

Metro Rod Newport & Hereford have had a continuous affinity with the Hospice of the Valleys, having previously sponsored events and carried out fundraising.

The hospice are our chosen Charity of the Year and we will aim to raise funds through various initiatives throughout the year. The hospice is close to the hearts of many members of our staff and to the wider community we reside and work within.

We are proud to support the outstanding work they carry out in the community and hope to continue our association for many years to come.

Fresh Active brings a ‘fresh’ approach to gym membership. We believe everyone should have access to top of the range facilities to get fit and healthy.

Any gym can make you sweat, but at Fresh Active we do it in style. We have combined the worlds most sophisticated fitness equipment with an affordable membership plan.

EGNI is an indoor children’s activity centre based in Tredegar and we are proud to be supporting Hospice of the Valleys and their Six Mile Race with incentive prizes. We hope to re-open our indoor ninja style obstacle course soon.

An alternative to soft play for all abilities, we believe making fitness fun for all is a key to unlocking a fettle lifestyle, follow us on Facebook for up to date news and information.
