Whether you’re an advanced runner, enjoying park run life, social running or want to set yourself a challenge, aged over 17, then the Senior Six Mile Race is for you.

Your entry fee contributes to the cost of organising the event, but it’s the money you raise that will be channelled into supporting patients and their loved ones living with a life-limiting illness, those who needs us the most and when.
The pandemic is the biggest challenge we’ve faced in our 30 year history and it’s led to us being forced to make adaptations to our services whilst also managing the biggest demand for our support we have seen in our existence. So the truth is, we’ve never needed people like you more. That’s why we’re kindly asking if you can raise 1 Patient Visit by our Specialist palliative Care nurse;
Everyone who raise a minimum of £29.84 will be entered into our hamper prize draw – thank you
Metro Rod Newport & Hereford have had a continuous affinity with the Hospice of the Valleys, having previously sponsored events and carried out fundraising. The hospice are our chosen Charity of the Year and we will aim to raise funds through various initiatives throughout the year. The hospice is close to the hearts of many members of our staff and to the wider community we reside and work within. We are proud to support the outstanding work they carry out in the community and hope to continue our association for many years to come.
