You can fundraising by using our Hospice Sponsorship Form in your welcome email or ask your human to set up a Just Giving Page and make sure to share amongst your other canine chums and humans. Here’s the link to the Hospice Just Giving Page.
Supporters on both 4 and 2 legs are encouraged to step up and walk 100km during the month of September 2025. You can split the distance any way you wish and works out roughly 3.3km per day.
Ask your human to complete the mileage card attached in your welcome email once you have signed up. Alternatively Strava is a free, easy to use app that can track your kilometres. Link your Just Giving page to Strava so all your pawsome pals can see your progress. You can also join the Hospice Strava Club and we can give kudos to you and your human.

Some important tips to remember;
Riverside Vet Care offers a personal veterinary service for you and your pet and is based in Beaufort as well as Abergavenny. We are delighted to support the ‘Paws for Patients’ Virtual Fundraising Challenge as we feel ‘pets are family’ and are passionate about working with such a great local Charity that does such important work in the communities of Blaenau Gwent. We are thrilled that so many dogs will be the star fundraisers taking their owners along for some exercise, enjoying the outdoors whilst raising money to make a big difference. We look forward to watching the progress of all our canine friends and their owners.
R&S Ward Ltd is a family run shop based on our farm at Croespenmaen, which has been open since 1980. We supply a wide range of feeds and bedding for all sorts of animals including horses, pigeons, cage and aviary birds, cats and dogs, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs as well as fishing baits.
The health and wellbeing benefits from being outdoors as well as interaction with pets is well documented. The Hospice of the Valleys offers an invaluable service to those in need of care and support. This is why we are supporting Paws for Patients this year.
