Run4Wales 10k Race Series – Team Hospice of the Valleys

WOW! OUR CHARITY SPACES FOR PORTHCAWL 10K ARE NOW FULL, THANK YOU. WE DO STILL HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES FOR THE CARDIFF 10K IN SEPTEMBER.

Hospice of the Valleys is excited to offer a limited number of charity spaces in the Run4Wales 10k warm-up race series.
Building on the tremendous success of our runners over recent years, we’d love to have you join our team!
Join Team Hospice of the Valleys Today
OGI Porthcawl 10k; Sunday 7th July 2024
Date: Sunday 7th July 2024
Time and Location: 10.00am. Porthcawl Esplanade
What’s Involved: The Ogi Porthcawl 10K is an exciting race in the seaside town known for its surf, sports and coastal walks. A summertime hotspot for both locals and visitors – Porthcawl is renowned for shining under the sun.
The race takes place on closed-roads, taking in a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the picturesque town centre, historic Grand Pavillion and the iconic Porthcawl Lighthouse.
What’s Included: 10K race entry includes a finishers medal, technical race t-shirt, on-course water station, pacers in every start wave, Event Village facilities and live tracking via the Run 4 Wales app.
Cost: We understand that times are currently difficult financially which is why we have a reduced registration fee of £5.00 and sponsorship target of £75.00

If you’ve already signed up take part in any of Run4Wales 10k races and want to support the Hospice then we would love to hear from you and can begin supporting you right away.
Reasons to do it…
There are many reasons to run for Hospice of the Valleys – whether it’s in memory of a loved one, because you, a family or friend has received support from the Hospice, to push and challenge yourself or simply because you need somewhere to wear your costume…What are you waiting for?
The minimum age for our 10k charity space is 15 years old.
