🌄 The Hospice 5 Peaks Challenge
An epic 42-hour adventure!
The 5 Peaks Challenge is a combination of the National and Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge – an ambitious mountain adventure tackling five of the highest peaks across England, Scotland, and Wales. Around 33 miles of walking, 5,186m of ascent all in 24 hours of walking. That’s the equivalent height of 54 London’s Big Ben, 1153 double decker buses stacked on top of each other or the height of 16 Paris Eiffel towers.

Event Details
Date: Friday 12th – Sunday 14th June 2026
Meeting Location: Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar. NP22 3AY
Meeting Time: 4.45am for kit inspection, departing for Scotland at 5.00am
Age: 18 years and older
Cost: Registration £60.00 (non-refundable) with a sponsorship ask of £600.00
*80% of sponsorship to be received 2 weeks prior to the challenge date.
What’s Included: Qualified Walk Leaders, Transport from Tredegar to Scotland and duration of challenge, over night accommodation at Fort William, kit list, Hospice T-shirt, Buff, spectacular views and memories to treasure.

PARC BRYN BACH Set in the heart of Tredegar in southeast Wales, Parc Bryn Bach (Bryn Bach Park), offers a warm welcome and plenty of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. As a local nature reserve, the park boasts 340 acres of stunning grass and woodland including a 36-acre lake. Our café offers hot and cold snacks and drinks and the park is the perfect venue to relax, have fun or try one of our exciting adventure activities.
