We are delighted to announce that one of our amazing Local Hospice Lottery players won the £2,000 jackpot prize on Friday 10th July 2020.
“It was tremendous to receive the call from Local Hospice Lottery on Friday afternoon. It’s been such a difficult time for us during lockdown as due to my wife’s illness she is shielding. So this windfall has come at the right time for us”
Mr Roberts (whose name has been changed) from Brynmawr is a long standing supporter of the Hospice and both him and his wife also shop in our charity shop in Brynmawr.
“When the man from Local Hospice Lottery knocked our door, me and my wife were happy to sign up and support Hospice of the Valleys as you do such good work within the local community”
When asked what he would be spending his winnings on Mr Roberts said
“Having a good Christmas with my family”
