Where icy waters meet incredible health benefits! Are you ready to take the plunge into a world of revitalising, refreshing, and invigorating experiences?

Hospice Dip A Day May challenge is a great way to help raise awareness of the Hospice and the work we do – plus it’s an amazing way to fundraising to help support our patients and their loved ones.

 

 

About the challenge

Immerse Yourself in Cold Water every day this May for Hospice of the Valleys.

You don’t need to be a swimmer or open water expert to take part – there are lots of way you can get involved.

Simply immerse yourself in a cold shower, an icy bath, paddling pool in the garden, dip at the beach or a chilly lido for 30 seconds each day. It certainly won’t be easy, but it will leave you feeling good in mind and body – and the money you raise will truly help to make a difference.

Registration Fee: £5.00 per dipper

What’s included in the price: Hospice Buff, Dip A Day challenge card and certificate.

 

Fundraising

We’re asking our dippers to take the plunge and raise £110.84 which will typically pay for half a day’s nursing support for a patient.

Everyone who raises the minimum sponsorship amount will receive a Hospice Supporters T Shirt and entered into a prize draw.

You can fundraising by using our Hospice Sponsorship Form in your welcome email or set up a Just Giving page.

Meet our corporate sponsor

At Cwmdu Contrast we’re passionate about the benefits of cold water dipping for your mental and physical health. We offer private one-hour guided contrast therapy sessions for individuals or groups of up to 10 people. The contrast of our wood-fired sauna for 10-minutes and then dipping in our ice baths for 2-5 minutes and repeating this three times, while enjoying mountain views of the Brecon Beacons, will make you feel revitalised and relaxed. The Dip a Day challenge is a fantastic way to encourage everyone to try out cold water dipping and get you feeling the benefits!
