Why did you choose a Daisy as a flower this year?

For many, a Daisy represents hope, love and joy. These are values that we always champion, so it felt like a fitting flower to remember and celebrate the loved ones we miss this year.

What do the profits go towards?

At Hospice of the Valleys, we offer a range of services, including nursing, social work, outpatient – Living Well service, bereavement support, complementary therapies, and welfare rights advice.

Alongside specialist services including Hospice at Home and Dementia Services (CARIAD), all free of charge.

Your donations support this work and enables us to support those when they need it most.

What does Hospice of the Valleys do?

We are dedicated to providing a range of support for people with life-limiting conditions, ensuring that they get the care they need, when they need it, within their local community.

We provide specialist palliative care and support for individuals and their families who have a life-limiting condition, focusing on enhancing quality of life and providing comfort and dignity during challenging times.

Do you only support local people?  

We care for people living in Blaenau Gwent whose illnesses are no longer curable.

We aim to care for and support people in the place of their choice, whether it is in their own homes, supported by our Hospice at Home and Community Teams, in our Out-Patient Clinic, or in the local Hospitals.
