Remember someone special this Christmas

Join us for Light up a Life, a special evening of remembrance where we come together to honour and celebrate the lives of those who remain forever in our hearts.

Whether your loved one was cared for by Hospice of the Valleys or not, you are warmly invited to be part of this meaningful community event.

Christmas can be a difficult time when someone important is no longer with us. Light up a Life offers a gentle opportunity to pause, reflect, share memories and remember those we miss, surrounded by people who understand.

As darkness falls, our remembrance tree will be illuminated, with each light shining in memory of someone special.

Dedicate a light to someone special while helping local families receive expert hospice care and support this Christmas.

You can make your dedication directly onto our virtual tree or contact us . Either way we will ensure that your dedication appears on our virtual tree and on our tree at the Hospice.

When you make your dedication if you are also able to make a donation to the Hospice, this will enable us to continue providing the care and support our patients and their loved ones need, where and when they need it most.

Join us for a special Light up a Life Service – an evening of music, readings, remembrance and our annual tree-lighting ceremony.

Wednesday 2nd December 2026, 5:45pm at Hospice of the Valleys, Ebbw Vale

Attendance is free, but places must be booked in advance as capacity is limited.

If you can't attend in person, you can still take part by watching the service online at a later date and requesting your Light up a Life at Home Pack.

Thank You

Whether you attend our service, dedicate a light or make a donation, thank you for helping us remember loved ones while keeping hospice care close to home this Christmas.
