On Friday 7 May 2027, we're inviting businesses, schools, community groups, friends and families across Blaenau Gwent to come together for Go Yellow Day.
Taking part couldn't be simpler. Wear something yellow and donate £1, or whatever you feel able to give, to support Hospice of the Valleys. Whether it's a yellow tie, a bright pair of socks, a school uniform accessory or a full head-to-toe yellow outfit, every splash of colour helps raise awareness and vital funds for your local hospice.
Why Go Yellow?
Every day, Hospice of the Valleys supports people living with a life-limiting condition, along with their loved ones, throughout Blaenau Gwent.
As a local charity, we rely on the support of our community to continue providing that support.
By taking part in Go Yellow Day, you'll be helping us continue supporting local people through some of life's most challenging moments, guided by what matters most to them.
Together, we can make sure more people receive compassionate support, close to home.

How to get involved
Taking part is easy:
- Wear Yellow
On Friday 7 May 2027, wear something yellow and encourage others to do the same.
- Make a Donation
We're suggesting a donation of £1, but every contribution, no matter the size, helps support Hospice of the Valleys. You can donate on the QR code below, Go Yellow Just Giving Page, through our website donate button or you can request a collection tin or bucket.
- Share Your Support
Take photos, celebrate your yellow outfits and help spread the word across your workplace, school or community. You can use the #Go YellowForHospice
- Challenge Your Friends and Colleagues
Why not make it even bigger? Hold a yellow-themed bake sale, host a coffee morning, organise a raffle or decorate your workplace or classroom in yellow.
