DESCRIPTION:Run4Wales 10k Race Series – Team Hospice of the Valleys\nChallenge yourself and do something amazing for YOU and Hospice of the Valleys  \n  \nHospice of the Valleys is excited to offer a limited number of charity spaces in the Run4Wales 10k warm-up race series. \nBuilding on the tremendous success of our runners over recent years\, we’d love to have you join our team! \n  \nJoin Team Hospice of the Valleys Today \n  \n \n  \nBrecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10k; Sunday 19th May 2024\n  \n \n  \nDate: Sunday 19th May 2024 \nTime and Location: 11.00am. Roald Dahl Plass\, Cardiff Bay. \nWhat’s Involved: Set in the heart of Cardiff’s historic Bay\, the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K is a flat\, fast and friendly event for all  abilities. The popular race\, which attracts some of the UK’s top athletes\, boasts a stunning course around Cardiff Bay. \nThe route takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks\, starting and finishing in Roald Dahl Plass and passing the Wales Millennium Centre\, Mermaid Quay\, the Pierhead Building\, Senedd\, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage. \nWhat’s Included: 10K race entry includes a finishers medal\, technical race t-shirt and live tracking through the Run 4 Wales app. \nCost: We understand that times are currently difficult financially which is why we have a reduced registration fee of £5.00 and sponsorship target of £75.00 \n  \nWhat you will get if you choose to run for us: \n\nCharity running space\nFree running vest\nFundraising materials and support throughout\nJoin our Runners What’s App group and meet fellow runners\nTraining and nutrition guides\nSupport to find a local running group\n\n  \nPerfect for all level of runners and to challenge your fitness.  You help us by raising funds so that we can continue to provide exceptional support to patients and their loved ones who need us most in Blaenau Gwent. \n  \n \n  \n \n  \nIf we can help in anyway\, please contact Amanda by emailing fundraising@hospiceofthevalleys.com or by calling 01495 717277 \n  \nThe Run4Wales 10K Series is an exciting series of 10K road races hosted across four unique locations\, delivered by Run4Wales \n  \n               \n  \nIf you’ve already signed up take part in any of Run4Wales 10k races and want to support the Hospice then we would love to hear from you and can begin supporting you right away. \n  \n \n  \nReasons to do it… \nThere are many reasons to run for Hospice of the Valleys – whether it’s in memory of a loved one\, because you\, a family or friend has received support from the Hospice\, to push and challenge yourself or simply because you need somewhere to wear your costume…What are you waiting for? \n  \nThe minimum age for our 10k charity space is 15 years old. \nThank you from everyone here at the Hospice. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
