DESCRIPTION:Challenge yourself and do something amazing for Hospice of the Valleys \nAfter the success of the inaugural Newport Wales Marathon 2018\, it returns to the running calendar on Sunday 5th May 2019. And you could be there!\nThe course boasts a flat\, scenic route taking in iconic landmarks\, coastal wildlife\, picturesque medial villages and the recently regenerated city-centre. Perfect for first timers or those wishing to set a personal best. \n\n  \n\nThe Hospice is delighted to announce we have 10 charity spaces available for Newport Wales Marathon 2019 and we would love to have you join our team. Help us by fundraising to continue to provide the exceptional care and support to patients and their families who need it most in Blaenau Gwent.  In return for a free space we ask that you aim to reach £300 in sponsorship and of course you don’t have to stop there! We will support you every step of the way with your fundraising.  Please get in touch on the details below to claim your charity space. \nPlease contact Amanda by emailing amanda.chard@hospiceofthevalleys.com or by calling 01495 717277 \nIf you’ve already signed up take part in 2019 then we would love to hear from you and can begin supporting you right away. \n\n \n\n  \nAs part of Team Hospice of the Valleys you will receive; \n\nYour free personalised technical running vest or t-shirt\,\nsupport from a dedicated fundraising team member with hints and tips to maximise your fundraising\,\nRegular communications and a good luck video prior to the event\,\nMarathon training and preparation plan\,\nSupport to contact and join a local park run group/ running club\,\nAccess to the Hospice of the Valleys central campaign on Just Giving\,\nAn invitation to view the building and an overview of the services we provide\, where your money will be going\nAnd of course supporting you on the day with a cheer station and group selfie before the start.\n\nReasons to do it… \nThere are many reasons to run the Newport Wales Marathon for Hospice of the Valleys – whether it’s in memory of a loved one\, because you\, a family or friend has received support from the Hospice\, to push and challenge yourself or simply because you need somewhere to wear your costume… \nKnowing your run has helped others\, gives a huge boost to the satisfaction you’ll feel on finishing the race.
