DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all our runners and well done to our winners.  Despite the awful weather your spirit and support shone through.  Please click below for run results. \n  \nDamian Williams 10k Seniors Run Results\nDamian Williams 2k Junior Run Results\n  \nNew Name\, New Distance\, Same Great Event and we can’t wait. \nHospice of the Valleys with support from Parc Bryn Bach Running Club are excited to bring you our new Damian Williams 10k for seniors and 2k junior run\, to honour a true gentleman in our local and running community. \nSet in the scenic grounds of Parc Bryn Bach this great event takes full advantage of this beautiful setting. \nWhether you’re an advanced runner\, enjoying park run life\, social running or want to set yourself a challenge\, aged over 17\, then the Senior 10k is for you. \n  \nDue to popular demand and to support and encourage our little runners we are pleased to offer our 4-16 years olds our Junior 2k Run.  We advise children aged 4-7 years to run with a responsible adult aged 18+. \nTo be able to confirm your booking for the Junior 2k  Run\, we request an adult name during registration of whom will run with or collect the child at the finish area of the run. \n  \nEvent Details\nDate: Sunday 12th April 2026 \nRun Start Time: 8.45am Junior 2k / 9:45am Senior 10k \nRegistration opens at 7:45am \nRegistration closes at 8.25am for Junior 2k Run and 9.00am for Senior 10k \nVenue: Parc Bryn Bach\, Tredegar. NP22 3AY \nEmail@ Fundraising@hospiceofthevalleys.com \nTelephone: 01495 717277 \nWelsh Athletics Race Licence Number: 26RRWA00275 \nMaps and Routes Click Here to view \n  \nWhat you need to know\nSenior (17 years plus)  \nEarly Bird (1st January –15th February 2026) Affiliated  £12.00 / Non Affiliated  £14.00 \nStandard (16th February – 5th April 2026) Affiliated  £14.00 / Non Affiliated  £16.00 \nOn the Day (12th April 2026) Affiliated  £16.00 / Non Affiliated  £18.00 \nJunior (4 -16 years)  \nEarly Bird (1st January –15th February 2026) £5.00 \nStandard (16th February – 5th April 2026) £6.00 \nOn the Day (12th April 2025) £7.00 \nJunior accompanying adult free \n  \n \n  \nOur 2026 t shirt – make sure to add to your registration basket when you sign up. \nT shirts must be ordered by 18TH MARCH 2026 \nThere may be a limited number of t shirts left to purchase after the race at the finish area. \n  \n  \nReasons to join in \n\nSenior; FREE Hospice Buff\, water\, snack\nJunior; FREE Hospice Finisher’s medal\, water\, snack\nAll children aged 4-7 years are advised to run with a responsible adult aged 18+\nOne accompanying adult will enter free of charge per child\nA great way to raise funds for the Hospice of the Valleys to continue to provide the dedicated\, exceptional care and support the clinical team does; supporting patients to live as well as possible with their life-limiting illness\n\n  \nFundraising incentives \nYour tremendous fundraising efforts; \nIf you manage to raise £64.52\, it will pay for 2 hours of specialist nursing support for a patient in their own home. \nIf you manage to raise £119.60\, it will pay for 2 hours of our CARIAD Activity Group\, supporting patients to access weekly activities\, reduce social isolation and brings carers together for peer support or rest bite. \nIf you manage to raise £268.94\, it will pay for a Health Care Assistant to look after a patient over night allowing their carer the chance for a much needed rest. \nEveryone who raise a minimum of £64.52 will be entered into our prize draws; Seniors = Gift Voucher.  Juniors = 2 x Parc Bryn Bach Activity Day Vouchers. \n  \n \n \nWe apologise\, but wish to bring to your attention that with the race being licensed under Welsh Athletics\, the insurance provided by the governing body is not designed to cover runners wishing to enter pushing a buggy or pushed wheelchairs and as such we are unable to permit entry of runners with buggies or pushed wheelchairs\, this is also inline with the race regulation (assisted running) stipulated by Welsh Athletics. \n  \n  \n \nParc Bryn Bach Running Club – We’re a friendly\, inclusive and successful running club.  we welcome runners of all abilities to join the running club. \nHome of Running Club\, First Strides\, Couch to 5k\, Bryn Bach Parc parkrun and Junior parkrun. \n  \n  \nMeet our sponsors \nMetro Rod Newport & Hereford have continued to support the Hospice of The Valleys as our charity of choice for this year. We have supported numerous events including the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge\, The Hospice Charity Golf Day and the 6 mile race to name a few. The hospice is close to the hearts of many members of our staff and to the wider community\, we reside and work within.
